How long have you been playing for?
I’ve been playing since three, so 11 years. And for the school, I just started this year.
What is your favorite moment from playing?
I think scoring goals.
What or who motivates you to play?
My dad and my brother.
What’s the hardest part for you about being a student athlete?
Probably figuring out schedules and timing to get my homework done too.
How do you prepare yourself before a game?
I motivate myself with orange juice.
How do you practice as a student athlete?
I practice at home in my backyard, and I prepare for the times I need to get home, practice, shower, and do all that.
Do you plan to use soccer in your future?
Yes, by getting into colleges with scholarships.
What is your favorite memory from soccer?
I think meeting new people, it really helped me develop in my day-to-day life.
How do you and your teammates help each other?
We encourage each other. We talk for each other, we stand up for each other.
Is there anything you could do to improve your skills?
Probably practice more.
What is the most important part of soccer?
You have to have courage and responsibility. From playing soccer, you get more leadership skills.
How can you be the best player you can be?
By encouraging others and helping out.
What advice would you give to a future player?
Trust yourself. Don’t think too much, use your brain, and just have fun.
