Welcome Back Grandview: A Letter from the Editors
By: Dibo Elango, Rose Waldron, Will Brent Inzana, Katie Fisher
Welcome back student body & staff! We are so happy to see all of you back in normal school.
The last two years have been chaotic to say the least, but now, we are starting a new year and looking forward to a new chapter.
The Chronicle prides itself on being a uniting force in this school’s community, committed to making people’s voices be heard here at Grandview. It would not be what it is without all of you!
As editors we are so excited and grateful to have this position. We’ve been looking forward to this for so long.
We have many things planned for this year and we’re very happy to be able to make this happen.
To many of us, the Chronicle has become a home and a family. As you can probably guess, it’s been torture for us to not be able to have real class with them this past school year.
Though, throughout the pandemic, we stuck together and put out many well-written, interesting stories, including multiple awards from the Colorado Student Media Association.
It’s amazing that even though we were apart, we still came together and produced as a newspaper.
This year’s staff will have around thirty members, including four editors. It’s so great to have a full staff this year dedicated to producing quality, award-winning content.Throughout the year we’ll cover sports, community, opinions, and feature stories. Each category will have it’s own team dedicated to it.
This year is going to be a good one! We cannot wait to show you what we have in store!
