What’s your favorite memory from this football season so far? 

Scoring my 1st touchdown, that was really fun. It was amazing, all the hard work and practices really paid off. That was a memory I’m going to have forever.  

How does it feel to be sophomore on varsity and what pressure comes along with that? 


It feels amazing, being able to play at this level as a sophomore is something I’m proud of. I wouldn’t say there’s really any pressure. It’s really just going out there and having fun every single day, and getting to know more people.  

How do you prepare mentally before a big game? 

I just get really excited, like amped up.
I just focus on the excitement and the opportunity to go out there and compete. That’s pretty much it. 

How do you handle the pressure playing with and against older athletes? 


I try not to overthink it. At the end of the day, they’re football players just like me. Once the game starts, I just play my game and focus on what I can control.

What’s one skill you’ve worked hard to improve this season? 

I would say my knowledge. That’s very important. I’ve also put a lot of time into improving my footwork, and I can definitely see the progress there.

Is there a specific game or play that you’re most proud of? 

Yeah, my touchdown. That was… that was great. I was so very proud of it.

Who has been your biggest influence on your football career? 

I would say my dad has been my biggest influence throughout it all.

How would you describe your team’s chemistry this year? 

I’d say it’s really strong. Everyone gets along, and there’s a real sense of family on this team. We support each other on and off the field, and that makes playing together even better.

What’s been the highlight of the season so far, and why does that moment stand out to you? 

Winning our first game. That set the tone for the rest of the season and starting off strong gave everyone confidence and brought us even closer as a team.

How would you describe your role as leader or teammate on and off the field? 

I would say I try to be someone who brings everyone together. I just want to make sure we stay connected as a team, that’s pretty much it.
