This may or may not be an exaggeration, but do you know any other students who fall into this category? Students who complain about trash, but also make no effort to pick anything up, even if it is theirs or not. Maybe the solution to a clean environment is a community effort, but it isn’t solved by people complaining about it and waiting for every scrap of trash to be picked up by an almost non-existent cleaning staff.

There’s a reason why the school pays janitors and custodians to keep the school clean. It shouldn’t be my obligation or responsibility to clean when the school either doesn’t hire enough people to do the job or the people they hire are too unmotivated to do their job to your satisfaction.

If you are really concerned about the levels of filth within the school, then you should contribute and help the many Janitors and Custodians, or you may as well be a good-for-nothing hypocrite.
